NPGA Executive Officers
The NPGA 2014 Annual Meeting and Mid-Year Board of Directors Meeting were held on June 2, 2014. The following individuals were elected as the 2014-2015 officers.
|David Lugar, Chairman: David is the Vice President of Supply and Logistics for AmeriGas Propane. He joined AmeriGas in September 2000 and has an office outside of Houston, Texas. David has been active in the National Propane Gas Association for many years, including service on the NPGA Board of Directors. He was a charter member of the Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) which was formed in 1996 and served in various officer positions during his time on the Council, including two terms as the PERC Chairman in 2003-2005.|
|Charlie Ory, Chairman-Elect: Charlie has worked in the propane industry for many years, currently as President of Family Propane. He has served for years volunteering his time with industry organizations, including as Past-President of the Arizona Propane Gas Association. Charlie is an active member of the NPGA Board of Directors and has served as the Arizona State Director and Chairman of the Technical, Safety, and Standards Committee. He also has experience with the Propane Education and Research Council as a member of the Consumer Education and Awareness Committee to name a few.|
|Stuart Weidie, Vice-Chairman: Stuart serves as President and CEO of The Blossman Companies, a retail LPG marketer located in the southeastern and mid-Atlantic States. Blossman Gas and Appliance, with 65 locations, is the largest independent marketer of LP Gas in the United States and offers a full line of appliances, gas products and installation services. He is also CEO of Alliance AutoGas, a nationwide network of companies providing LPG vehicle equipment, conversions and propane AutoGas for government and private fleets.|
|Jerry Brick, Treasurer: Jerry is the owner of North Star Energy LLC in Aberdeen, SD. Brick has served in a variety of leadership positions within NPGA, including: the Executive Committee, Governmental Affairs Committee, Member Services Committee, and issue specific task forces. He has also held every office in the South Dakota Propane Gas Association. In his role as NPGA treasurer, Brick will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s budget and finances. Jerry was an advisory member of the Mitchell Technical Institute in Mitchell, SD, for the Propane and Natural Gas Technologies course.|
